Adding Allowed Mailing Lists Entries

Use the Allowed Mailing Lists page to ensure that mail addressed to mailing lists is not subjected to anti-spam scanning. The Allowed Mailing Lists page is primarily used to allow messages addressed to mailing lists to which you belong to bypass anti-spam filtering, as well as to ensure that mail you send to those allowed mailing lists entries is not delayed by anti-spam filtering.

To add allowed mailing lists entries:

  1. Click Allowed Mailing Lists from the links on the left.
The Allowed Mailing Lists page displays.
  2. In the Mailing List Address or Domain text box, enter a mailing list e-mail address.
  3. Click Add.
The page refreshes and your mailing list address is listed.
Mail sent to recipients on your Allowed Mailing Lists is forwarded to the specified recipients with an additional header: X-Junkmail-Whitelist: YES (by domain whitelist at hostname). Such mail is not subjected to anti-spam scanning.

To delete allowed mailing lists entries:

  1. Click Allowed Mailing Lists from the links on the left.
The Allowed Mailing Lists page displays.
  2. Click the checkbox for one or more allowed mailing lists.
  3. Click Remove.
    A confirmation page appears.
  4. Click Remove.
The page refreshes and the selections no longer appear in the Mailing List Address or Domain text box.
